A proposal that could result in Halifax County High School being placed into a “neighborhood” combination Group AAA-Group AA district for athletic contests may possibly unravel as the result of an error in the reporting of the school’s enrollment.

Glass on Friday.Brianna Lindsey scored 11 points to lead the Comets and Che’Lese Bowman was next with seven points, while Janiyah Logan, Mecca Cole and Briyana Jackson scored four points apiece and Sheraine Claughton and Lexi Tucker two apiece.

The Halifax County Middle School girl’s basketball team passed its first Southside Middle School Conference road test of the season Monday, defeating Bluestone Middle School 43-21.
