Persistent rain showers throughout the day forced South Boston Speedway officials to cancel Saturday night’s scheduled NASCAR Whelen Late Model Twin 75’s racing program.
Racing action will return to South Boston Speedway Saturday night with the 7 p.m. running of the SVHEC NASCAR Late Model 150 racing program.
Highlighting Saturday night’s action is a 150-lap race for the drivers and teams in the NASCAR Whelen All American Series Late Model Stock Car Division. A race for the Limited Sportsman Division and twin races for the Budweiser Pure Stock Division round out Saturday night’s four-race card.
Pit gates will open and registration will start at 1 p.m. Practice will run from 3 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. Grandstand gates will open at 5 p.m. and qualifying time trials will begin at 5:30 p.m. The first race of the night will get the green flag at 7 p.m.
