PASS Super Late Models visit SBS Saturday 

The Super Late Models of the Pro All Star Series (PASS) will make their debut appearance of the 2014 campaign at America’s Hometown Track on Saturday.

The PASS Super Late Model 150 racing program will get cranked up at 7 p.m. on the historic four-tenths mile asphalt oval, will also feature twin 25-lap battles for the competitors in the Limited Sportsman Division, a 30-lap clash for the drivers in the Budweiser Pure Stock Division and a 25-lap shootout for the touring Legends Series.

Heading into racing action this weekend, Tyler Church is the leader in the chase for the PASS Super Late Model Series South Division championship. Church has one victory and has opened a 32-point edge over second-place Cole Timm.

Jared Irvan is third in the standings and is just two points ahead of fourth-place Tyler Dippel.

Other competitors currently in the top 10 in the standings include Trevor Noles in fifth, Tate Fogleman in sixth, Ted Mickelson in seventh, Matt Daley in eighth, Brandon Setzer in ninth and Joe Heigl in 10th. 

The PASS Super Late Models will also visit South Boston Speedway this season in August. 

Trey Crews, a two-time winner in 2014, leads the standings in the chase for the South Boston Speedway Limited Sportsman Division championship. He is 20 points ahead of second-place Tommy Peregoy. 

Daryn Cockram is third in the standings and is only two points behind Peregoy and three points ahead of defending division champion Danny Willis Jr., who owns one victory this season.

Greg Autry has motored to three wins this season in the Budweiser Pure Stock Division and he owns a 15-point lead in the chase for the championship. Bruce Mayo is second in the standings and is only two points ahead of third-place Johnny Layne.

Registration and pit gates will open on Saturday, June 7 at noon. Practice for all divisions will be held from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. 

Grandstand gates will open at 4:30 p.m. and qualifying time trials will crank up at 4:45 p.m. A Fan Appreciation session will be held prior to racing action. 

Advance tickets for the PASS Super Late Model 150 racing program are on sale and priced at $10 each. Advance tickets can be purchased through 5 p.m. on Friday.
