“We didn’t play our best, but we will take the win,” said Comets Head Coach David Graham.
“This was the first time our players have seen the course. It was added experience for our players. We found some things we needed to work on for Monday’s district match and we’ll get those things taken care of.”
On Tuesday, the Comets participated in a tournament hosted by E.C. Glass High School at Colonial Hills Country Club in Lynchburg that included all five Western Valley District schools.
The Comets’ “B” team participated in that event, with the Comets finishing fourth in the six-team event with a 354 total.

Chase Wilkerson and Hunter Watts both came in with a round of 99.
Patrick Henry High School won the event with a 316 total. Host E.C. Glass High School finished second with a 323 total and Franklin County High School finished third with a team total of 327.
