Comets fall to E.C. Glass in OT

Overtime was a magic time for the Halifax County High School varsity boys basketball team in last week’s win over Amherst County.
But, the magic wasn’t there for the Comets in Saturday night’s game against E.C. Glass High School in the Beacon Basketball Classic in Lynchburg.

An early season snowstorm Saturday interrupted a wrestling tournament at GW-Danville, with the Comets’ grapplers already having four wrestlers in the finals.
