Scottsburg finished an undefeated run through the district tournament in Clarksville winning the district championship on Tuesday with a 21-6 win over South Boston National.
Scottsburg finished with 24 hits, compared to 10 for South Boston, with Trevor Hazelwood and Logan Smith each hitting a triple and two singles for Scottsburg, which scored seven runs in the first inning, seven in the second, four in the third and two in the fourth inning.
Tyler Collins had a double and single, and Joshua Gunn, Adam Seamster, Luke Carr, Kayden Conner, Jacob Dyer and Hunter Crews each had two base hits for Scottsburg, while Cameron Carson hit a double and Cody Casen a single.
Dakii Chandler and Trevor Mahan each hit a home runs and single for South Boston National, Damion Wilborn hit two singles, Jaylen Anderson and Joseph Roberts each a double, and Greyson Parker and Javion Gooden base hits.
South Boston National scored one run in the third inning and added five runs in the fourth inning.
