TNA wrestling star Jeff Jarrett, a former WWE and WCW champion, will be among the professional wrestling stars that will headline Saturday night’s Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling MACW “Battle For The Belts” at Halifax County High School.
Doors will open at Halifax County High School at 7 p.m., with bell time at 8 p.m.
A portion of the proceeds raised from the event will go toward the Halifax County Sheriff’s Department crime prevention initiative.
Ringside seats for the event are priced at $15 each. General admission tickets are $10 each.
“We have lowered the ticket prices for this event,” MACW President Rikki Nelson pointed out.
“The last time we were here ringside seats were $20. This is a big event and we want Halifax County High School to be packed. We won’t be back to South Boston again until January of 2014, so we encourage everyone to come out and enjoy this big event.
Advance tickets are available at Bo’s Hydraulics, The Scissor Shack, Halifax County High School and at the door Saturday night.
Almost every MACW division title with the exception of the women’s championship will be on the line in Saturday night’s MACW “Battle For The Belts.
”The headline bout Saturday night will be the battle for the MACW Hardcore title, a battle in which Jarrett will face “Big Poppa Pump” Scott Steiner.
Another of the major bouts to be featured Saturday night will be one in which Nelson, the current MACW Heavyweight Champion, will face the legendary Ricky Morton in a battle for that belt.
Also, Jeff “The Feature Presentation” Lewis will face Buff “The Stuff” Bagwell in a title match.
The “Battle For The Belts” event will also include other matches to make for an exciting full night of MACW wrestling.
