Mr. James Willis Williams of Rosehill Drive, South Boston died on Monday, Feb. 3, 2014, at his residence at the age of 74.
Mr. Williams was born in Halifax County on March 13, 1939 to the late Mr. James H. Williams and Mrs. Florence Wood Williams.
He is survived by four sisters, Ms. Queen King, Mrs. Jean Jeffreys and husband Charlie, Mrs. Lanetta Torian and husban, William, all of South Boston, and Mrs. Lola Pinkey and husband Jerry of Brooklyn, N.Y.; one brother, Mr. Leroy Williams, and wife Serita of Richmond; and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends including the devoted Ms. Juanita Cross, Mr. Bill Buster, Mr. Richard Kent, Ms. Valerie Lovelace and Ms. Serita Windsor.
Funeral services for Mr. James Willis Williams will be held Saturday, Feb. 8, at 11 a.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home with the Rev. Wallace Pierce officiating.
The family is receiving friends at the home of Mrs. Jean Jeffreys, 350 B Poplar Creek Street, South Boston.
