Mrs. Kimberley Fallen Bosiger of South Boston died Thursday, Oct. 10, 2013, at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. She was born in Halifax County on Nov. 3, 1969 and was 43 years of age.
She was the daughter of Richard W. “Dickie” Fallen and Helen Irby Fallen and was married to Wesley John Bosiger.
Mrs. Bosiger was a member of Black Walnut Baptist Church and was a teacher at Halifax County Middle School where she was the 2012 Teacher of the Year. She was the Wal-Mart Teacher of the Year in 2004.
Mrs. Bosiger is survived by her husband, Wesley John Bosiger, of South Boston; her son, Jackson Wesley “Jax” Bosiger, of South Boston; her parents, Richard W. “Dickie” and Helen Irby Fallen, of Halifax; her sister, Karen Fallen Crews, and husband Aubrey Todd Crews of South Boston; her parents-in-law, John and Gail Bosiger, of Halifax; one brother-in-law, Scott Timothy Bosiger, and wife Alison of Wake Forest, N.C.; one sister-in-law, Melissa Bosiger Countryman, and husband Taylor of Charlotte, N.C.; nieces and nephews, Jillian Crews, Jacob Crews, Noah Crews, Jacob Bosiger, Nancy Bosiger, Greyson Bosiger, Addison Countryman and Aubrey Countryman.
A memorial service for Mrs. Kimberley Fallen Bosiger will be held on Monday, Oct. 14, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Grace Baptist Church with the Rev. Raymond Wooten and the Rev. Jack Stewart officiating.
The family will receive friends at the church immediately following the service and other times at her home, 1310 Orleans Avenue, South Boston.
