Mr. Felix Marshall Ballou of L. P. Bailey Highway, Halifax died Oct. 10 at University of Virginia Medical Center at the age of 57.
Mr. Ballou was born in Halifax County on April 30, 1956 and was the son of the late Mr. Branford Hugo Ballou and Mrs. Rachel Easley Ballou. He was a member of Banister Hill Baptist Church.
Mr. Felix Ballou is survived by two daughters Ms. Selena Ballou and Ms. Feleshia Ballou, both of Richmond, Va.; one grandchild Aasia Scott of Richmond; two brothers Mr. Robert “Bob” Ballou and Mr. Bradford “Brad” Ballou, both of Halifax; aunt Ms. Myrtle Ballou; nephew Mr. Rahgie Ballou; one niece Ms. Dorothy Ann Miller, and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends, including the devoted Ms. Sharon Graves and Mr. Joseph Sims.
Funeral services for Mr. Felix Marshall Ballou will be Wednesday, Oct. 16 at Banister Hill Baptist Church at 1 p.m. with Rev. Dr. William Carr officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family is receiving friends at the residence, 1040 L.P. Bailey Memorial Highway, Halifax. Public viewing for family and friends will be Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at The Crawford House chapel in Halifax.
