Nancy Wilborn Long of 2037 Bold Springs Road, South Boston died Oct. 9, 2013 at MCV, Richmond at the age of 70. She was born Aug. 23, 1943 in Orlando, Fla.
Mrs. Long was a member of Second Baptist Church, and she attended Black Walnut Baptist Church. She was employed at CVS as a pharmacy tech.
She is survived by her husband, Bernice Long, of South Boston; two daughters, Tracy Long Barksdale and husband Mike of South Boston and Jonna Long Blanks and husband Sam of Virgilina; two sons, Joey G. Long and wife Raven of Front Royal and Gregory J. Long and fiancé Beth of Alton; one sister, Mary Ann Reagan, and husband Tincy of Alton; one granddaughter, Amanda Barksdale Ambrose, and husband Joey; four grandsons, Joshua Long, Christopher Long, Justin Long and Matthew Barksdale; one great-granddaughter, Kaylee Rayn Barksdale.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd Lee Wilborn Sr. and Beatrice Shelton Wilborn; one brother, Floyd Lee Wilborn Jr.; one sister-in-law, Joyce Long Conner; one brother-in-law, Johnnie Mack Long; her in-laws Lucille Lowery Long and Johnnie Matt Long; and Uncle Jack Lowery.
Funeral services for Mrs. Long will be held graveside at Black Walnut Baptist Church Cemetery on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2013, at 11 a.m. with the Reverend’s Raymond Wooten and Larry Davis officiating.
Visitation will be at Brooks Funeral Home on Friday, Oct. 11, 2013, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and other times at the home.
