On Sept. 27, 2013, our loved one, Theodore Ray Muse, was called home to be with the Lord. He was the son of the late Louis and Iretha Muse of Halifax.
Theodore faithfully served the residents of Montgomery County as a letter carrier for the United States Post Office for over 31 years. His kind heart and warm smile quickly won the affection of the residents he served, his co-workers and community.
Theodore was a member of Thomas Tabernacle Holiness Church of God in Frederick, Md., and New Zion Baptist Church in Nathalie. He was a man who showed and proved that with God all things are possible. He was one of those special people who radiated the light and love of God. He deeply touched the lives of just about everyone he came into contact with.
Theodore was preceded in death by his beloved sister, Betty Gail Jordan; and his granddaughter, Kadijah Waliullah Gilbert.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Rebecca Muse; daughters Thealisha Muse and Michelle Cook; sons Donald Ramey, Steven Tarbell, Thomas Kelly and Robert Tarbell; and God-daughter, Mondrea Jacobs; his sisters, Lois Wallace, Geraldine Davis and Yetta Patterson; and his brothers, Tyrone Muse, Kevin Muse, Dwight Muse and Eric Muse. He also leaves to celebrate his life, Mary Muse; several precious step-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; and countless neighbors, friends and co-workers.
Friends will be received by the family Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Thomas Tabernacle Holiness Church of God located at 517 S. Market Street, Frederick, Md.
Funeral services will be held Oct. 5, 2013 with viewing 12 p.m. until service time at 1 p.m. at New Zion Baptist Church, 7107 Chatham Road, Nathalie.
