Mrs. Alice Iola Acco Mosley of Guill Town Road, Clover, died Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013, at Halifax Regional at the age of 75.
Mrs. Mosley was born in Sparlsill, N.Y. on June 27, 1938 to the late Mr. David Acco Sr. and Mrs. Louise Scott Acco and was married to the late Mr. Stanley Louis Mosley Sr. She was a faithful member of St. Matthew Baptist Church, participating in the senior choir and Missionary Society. She was a retiree of Clover Yarn, Inc. after more than 30 years of service.
Mrs. Mosley is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Caroline M. Crews and husband Lenox, Mrs. Gloria J. Mosley, Ms. Cheryl M. Bowman and Mrs. Debra M. Jennings and husband Farrell, all of Clover; three sons, Mr. Stanley Louis Mosley Jr. and wife Angela of Virginia Beach, Mr. Michael H. Mosley and wife Priscilla of Waldorf, Md., and Mr. Donald L. Mosley of Clover; 11 grandchildren; four great–grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Dorothy Thompson and husband DeShea of Bronx, N.Y.; one brother, Mr. Winston Sydnor and wife, Deborah of Nathalie; one step-sister, Ms. Lucy Foster of Clover; and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Mrs. Mosley will be held Friday, Sept. 13, at 2 p.m. at St. Matthew Baptist Church with the Rev. Alfred L. Chandler officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Public viewing for family and friends will be Thursday, Sept. 12, from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home.
The family is receiving friends at the residence, 1092 Guill Town Road, Clover.
