Pamela “Pam” Gayle Hughes Edwards, 41, of 6112 Spring Garden Road, Blairs died Sunday, March 17, 2013, due to injuries sustained in an accident.
She was born April 26, 1971 in Danville to Linda Marie Millner and Robert Hughes. She worked for Amburn & Company Salon and Spa as a nail technician. Ms. Edwards graduated from GWHS in 1989. She was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her daughter, Bailey Marie Honeycutt, of the residence; her half sister, Jaime Farmer, of Brookneal; her brothers, Glenn T. Stanley of South Boston, Jeff Overby and Brad Dockery, both of Keeling; her grandmother, Elizabeth Thacker, of Danville; her mother’s good friend Ray Lewis; her stepmother Sandra Hughes; her godson, Holden Cassada; and her special friends, Leslie Reynolds, Donna Davis, Mike and Lanier Cassada, Dave and Jenny Neal and Janel Smith.
A graveside service was held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at Danville Memorial Gardens with Minister G. R. “Jody” Pollard officiating.
The family received friends Tuesday, March 19, 2013, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Norris Funeral Services, Mt. Hermon Chapel and other times at the home of Mike and Lanier Cassada, 481 Jeanette Drive, Danville.
In lieu of flowers the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be made to the Bailey Marie Honeycutt Trust Fund, C/O American National Bank, 239 Nor-Dan Drive, Danville, VA 24540.
