On Sunday, March 17, 2013, Margie Anne Byrnes Rosche passed away at the age of 84 years.
She was a woman of faith as she served the Lord in various capacities, such as the choir, VBS and outreach ministry to shut-ins. She was a talented seamstress and quilter. She enjoyed years of involvement in the St. Tammany Twirlers and Slidell Little Theatre.
Mrs. Margie was a 1950 graduate of Charity School of Nursing in New Orleans, La. and a member of Pearl River United Methodist Church in Pearl River, La.
She is survived by four children, Henry Rosche III, Patricia Rosche Warden, John Larry Rosche and his wife, Donna, and Dr. C. William Rosche and his wife, Lisa; a sister, Lois Jean Hitt; brother, Buddy Byrnes; and 14 grandchildren, Laura, John Jr., Lance, Daniel, Jessica, Shannon, Margot, Emily, Sarah, Megan, Cory, Ethan, Nicholas and Isabel. She is also survived by a host of great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Henry Rosche Jr.; and her parents, Gilbert and Allis Byrnes.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 23, 2013, at 12 p.m. at D.T. Williams Funeral Home, Pearl River, with visitation starting at 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral.
Interment will follow at Hickory Memorial Gardens Cemetery, located at D.T. Williams Funeral Home, Pearl River.
Pastor Patty Hewitt will be officiating.
