Margaret Pulliam McKinney of 125 Frank Fox Road, Roxboro, N.C. passed away Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012, at Roxboro Nursing Center at the age of 87.
Mrs. McKinney was born Dec. 30, 1924 in Halifax County to the late Arthur Lewis Pulliam and Maggie Simmons Pulliam.
Mrs. McKinney was a factory worker at Russell Stover Candies of Clarksville and was of the Baptist faith.
Mrs. Margaret Pulliam McKinney is survived by one sister, Ruby Fox of Roxboro, N.C.; three sister-in-laws, Rosetta McKinney of Buffalo Junction, Lila Maude Pulliam of Roxboro, N.C., and Mozelle Pulliam of Durham, N.C; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Green Hill “Cowboy” McKinney, six brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services for Margaret Pulliam McKinney will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 22, 2012, at Brooks Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dion Loving officiating. Interment will follow in the Providence Presbyterian Church cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Brooks Funeral Home Monday, Oct. 22, 2012, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. and at other times at the home of her sister, Ruby Fox, 67 Frank Fox Road, Roxboro, N.C.
