Mrs. Judith Lucinda Greene Hendricks of Alchie Lane, Nathalie died June 30 at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pa. at the age of 91.
Mrs. Hendricks was horn in Halifax County Aug. 29, 1920 and was the daughter of the late Mr. Ricely Greene and Mrs. Elnora Coles Greene. She was married o the late Mr. Samuel Lee Hendricks and was a member of Millstone Baptist Church.
Mrs. Judith Greene Hendricks is survived by one daughter, Ms. Gloria Henderson, of Philadelphia, Pa.; one son, Mr. Gerald Hendricks, and wife Elaine of Philadelphia, Pa.; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a god-daughter, Miss Marcia Bowens, of Maryland; two sisters-in-law, Ms. Marie Hendricks of Nathalie and Ms. Fannie B. Hendricks of W. Va.; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Hendricks was preceded in death by 11 siblings.
Funeral services for Mr. Judith Lucinda Greene Hendricks will be held Monday, July 9, at 12 p.m. with services at Millstone Baptist Church with the Rev. Paul Crews officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Public viewing for family and friends will be Sunday from 12 p.m. until 6 p.m. at The Crawford House Chapel in Halifax. The family will be receiving friends at the residence, 2048 Alchie Lane, Nathalie.
