Mrs. Lillie Williams “Pig” Jiggetts of Buffalo Junction died March 19, 2012 at Halifax Regional Hospital at the age of 44. Mrs. Jiggetts was born in Philadelphia, Pa. on Oct. 12, 1967, and was the daughter of Mr. Ralph Williams and Mrs. Delois Estelle Fountain Williams.
Survivors include her husband, Mr. Roy Jiggetts; four daughters, Mrs. Alesia L. Nelson and husband Mario of Clarksville, Ms. Kendrea R. Jiggetts of South Boston, Ms. Priscilla M. Jiggetts and Ms. Michelle N. Jiggetts, both of Buffalo Junction; two sons, Mr. Cordarrell L. Williams of Vernon Hill and Mr. Daniel D. Jiggetts of South Boston; her parents of Halifax; two sisters, Ms. Rosita W. Jiggetts of Iowa and Mrs. Debbie W. Screen and husband Noel of South Boston; two brothers, Mr. Ralph L. Williams Jr. and Mr. Gabriel A. Williams, both of Virgilina; nine grandchildren; her grandmother, Mrs. Beth Burwell of Brooklyn, N.Y.; her mother-in-law, Ms. Molly M. Jiggetts; six sisters-in-law; four brothers-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends including the devoted Ms. Gwendolyn Gregory. One daughter, Shameka R. Jiggetts, preceded her in death.
Funeral services for Mrs. Jiggetts will be held Saturday, March 24, at 2 p.m. at Jeter Chapel Baptist Church with the Revs. Antori Brown and James Lester officiating. Burial will follow in the family cemetery.
The family is receiving friends at the home of Mr. Eddie Spraggins, 1052 Pine Height Trail, Halifax. Public viewing for family and friends will be one hour prior to the service Saturday.
