Lillian Fears Hamlett-Wright, 68, a devoted mother and wife, of Carson Street, Brookneal, passed away Friday, Oct. 16, 2009, at Heritage Hall Nursing Home, Brookneal.
She was twice married, first to the late Royal Dean Hamlett and secondly to the late Charlie Raymond Wright.
She was a long time member of Ellis Creek Baptist Church and a retired home health care certified nurses aide.
She is survived by two sons, Wesley Dean Hamlett and fiancée Lisa Dawson of Brookneal, Bernard (Bernie) Lee Hamlett of Nathalie; three daughters, Rita Faye H. Smith and husband Thomas of Concord, Debra (Debbie) H. Bowe and husband Rick of Phenix, Tamara (Tammy) H. Epperson and husband Brian of Nathalie; 15 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 19, in Henderson Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Doug Saunders and Rev. Andy Ferguson with interment to follow in Wickliffe Cemetery.
The family received friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 18, at Henderson Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Brookneal.
