Mrs. Margaret Carol Gryder Rabba of Clover died Monday, April 28, 2014, at Halifax Regional Hospital.
She was born in Henderson, N.C. on Dec. 29, 1932 and was 81 years of age. She was the daughter of the late Herman Gryder and Veatrice Jennings Gryder.
Mrs. Rabba was a devoted Christian and retired from the Chesapeake Parole Board.
Survivors include three sons, Billy Rabba and Cory Rabba, both of Portsmouth, and Kevin Rabba and wife Audrey of Clover; one daughter, Kami Vaughan, of Elizabeth City, N.C.; one grandson, Shaun Rabba, and wife Candi of Clover; three grandchildren, Kaden Rabba, Landon Hite and Bentley Rabba, all of Clover.
One granddaughter, Kaci Rabba, three brothers, Earl, Berkley and A.T. Gryder, and one sister, Virginia Pierce, also preceded Mrs. Rabba in death.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 1, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Powell Funeral Home chapel with the Pastor Greg Robertson officiating.
Burial will follow at the Clover Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Powell Funeral Home for one hour prior to the service and other times at the home, 3070 Mill Road, Clover.
