Mr. Owen Nathaniel Glenn of Danville died Sunday, April 13, 2014, at Danville Regional Hospital at the age of 74.
Mr. Glenn was born in Halifax County on Jan. 7, 1940 to the late Mr. Archie Glenn and Mrs. Beatrice Carrington Glenn. He was a member of Cross Road Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Pamela Hood, and husband Bobby of Danville; two sons, Mr. Shelton Glenn of Roxboro, N.C., and Mr. Ronald Glenn of Newport News; one sister, Mrs. Jeanette Roddey, and husband Thomas of Matthews, N.C.; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Charlease Mason, of Lake City, S.C.; a devoted friend, Ms. Barbara Barnette; and a host of other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, two brothers, Mr. Arnold Mason and Mr. Taft Mason, also preceded Mr. Glenn in death.
Funeral services will be Friday, April 18, at 1 p.m. at Cross Road Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will be receiving friends at the service Friday.
Public viewing for family and friends will be Thursday, April 17, from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. at Jeffress Funeral Home.
