After emerging from a long closed meeting Friday morning, the Halifax County Industrial Development Authority (IDA) voted to authorize Executive Director Mike Sexton to negotiate lease terms with a prospect.

Five Face Charges In Larceny

South Hill police have arrested five Halifax County residents in connection with a larceny of computers and computer-related equipment Monday from the South Hill Walmart store.
