Task force forms to help Halifax storm victims

The Halifax County Disaster Recovery Task Force has been formed to coordinate relief efforts, to rapidly meet the needs of those affected by the two tornados that touched down in the area last month and to make application to the Virginia Disaster Relief fund, Halifax County Emergency Services Coordinator W. Kirby Saunders announced on Friday.
