No one from the public showed much interest in offering input about the Halifax County school budget for the coming year Monday evening when the Halifax County School Board met at 6 p.m. for that purpose in the school board office conference room in Halifax.
Chairman Kim Farson opened the floor to hear from the public, but after no one from the public was present, school board members waited around for about 10 minutes to see if any interested persons would show.
After no one came, school board members didn’t discuss any items affecting next year’s proposed budget, and the meeting was adjourned with no action taken.
