Tickets still available for annual Halifax Regional Hospice Gala

Dust off your dancing shoes and take a trip back in time as Halifax Regional Hospice brings back The Roaring Twenties.

Tickets are still available for the seventh annual Halifax Regional Hospice Gala. This year’s theme is “The Roaring Twenties,” and the event is set for March 2 at The Prizery beginning at 7 p.m.

Festivities include dinner catered by The Lake House, beverages, a cash bar, a live and silent auction, and more. Music for the night will be provided by The Pizzaz Band. Tickets are $50 and can be purchased at the Hospice office at Halifax Regional Hospital or may be purchased online at hrhs.org under Wellness Events.

“Our Gala committee has worked very hard to make this an elegant, glamorous and fun evening, all to benefit hospice patients, including patients with unfunded care,” said Carol Conner, manager of Halifax Regional Hospice. “This event has become popular, and we truly enjoy presenting it each year. It’s always great to see people enjoy themselves at the event, and we are blessed by their contributions and what it can do for our patients.”

For those interested in contributing at high level, table sponsorships are still available. The $1,000 level includes a reserved table for 10 and 10 tickets, one free signature drink for guests, reserved parking and a private waiter for the table.

The $750 level includes a reserved table for 10 and 10 tickets, and one free signature drink for guests.

The $500 level includes a reserved table for 10 and 10 tickets.

And while buying tickets, don’t forget to purchase raffle tickets. The prize for this year’s raffle is $1,000. Raffle tickets are $1 and can be purchased from any committee member. The winner need not be present to win.

“Halifax Regional Hospice cares for terminally ill patients in Halifax, Mecklenburg, Charlotte and surrounding counties. We can provide end of life care to any individual with a limited life expectancy, no matter the diagnosis,” Conner said. “This fundraiser plays a vital role in the extensive services and unfunded patient care we are able to provide, and we are very thankful the community supports our efforts year after year.”
