Archery camp right on target

A total of 58 students are participating in the local archery camp held at South Boston Recreation Department this week with students ranging in ages from 2-17. 

One adult also joined the youngsters participating in the camp. 

Students learned the basics of archery as well as the parts of the bow and enjoyed participating in individual and team competitions.  

Instructors for the weeklong camp are Mary Douglas, Francis Mitchell and Karen Wilkins. Assistants include David Hanson, Malik Jackson, Timonee McCargo, Darryl Kent, Talisha Overby, Trevaughn Graves and Darius Robertson.
