Crash kills man with area ties

A 24-year-old Roanoke man with local ties was killed Thursday following a two-vehicle wreck in Norfolk. 

According to published reports, just before 9 p.m. Andrew B. Tuck was traveling north on Colley Avenue on a motorcycle when he was struck by another vehicle attempting to make a left turn onto 38th Street. 

Tuck was transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital where he was pronounced dead. 

No one else was injured. 

Tuck was a student at Old Dominion University where he majored and worked in music production. 

He is the son of Lisa Sullivan Tuck and Victor Wesley Tuck, formerly of Halifax County, and the grandson of Emmitt and Nancy Tuck of South Boston. 

A funeral service will be held at Grace Baptist Church on Wednesday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Jack Stewart and Darren Potter officiating. Burial will follow in Grace Baptist Church Cemetery.
