Nannie Dora Randolph, a 65-year-old Halifax County woman reported missing last month, has been located safe and sound in Williamsburg.
According to Halifax County Sheriff Fred S. Clark, working together with the Williamsburg Police Department authorities located Randolph on Tuesday in a hotel in which she had been residing.
Police had been investigating her disappearance since Randolph’s family expressed concerns to sheriff’s office authorities after they had been unable to contact her for some time.
Investigator J. M. Burton and Lieutenant M. A. Womack were assigned to the case, and the investigation led local authorities to believe Randolph may be in the Williamsburg area.
Clark said Investigator Burton spoke with Randolph on the phone Tuesday, and she informed him she was now living in Williamsburg and doing well.
The sheriff extended his appreciation to the Williamsburg Police Department for their officers’ assistance in this investigation.
