SoBo woman faces animal violations

A 38-year-old South Boston woman faces charges of having an animal with no tags and not vaccinating an animal, according to South Boston Police Department records.

Vickey Lynn Perez of Vaughn Street was issued the summons Tuesday by Animal Control Officer P. B. Murray.

Daysha Latoria Battle, 18, of North Main Street, South Boston faces a charge of larceny for shoplifting.

Sgt. R. D. Edmonds issued the summons Tuesday.

 Aurora Dawn Springs, 22, of Ash Avenue, South Boston faces a charge of brandishing a firearm.

Officer B. H. Smith served the warrant Tuesday.

 Tara D. Clark, 28, of Springdale Drive, South Boston faces a charge of larceny for shoplifting.

Officer C. M. Mann served the warrant, and Clark was released on summons.

 Lisa Ann Newman, 43, of Sinai Road, South Boston faces two felony charges of fraud, according to Halifax County Sheriff’s Office records.

The alleged offenses occurred June 21, and Deputy R. L. Compton served the warrants Tuesday.

 John Edward Claiborne, 44, of Huell Matthews Highway, South Boston faces a felony charge of felonious assault with intent to maim.

The alleged offense occurred March 8, and Compton served the warrant Tuesday.

 Evelyn Nicole Cooper, 29, of Memorial Drive, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of failure to appear in court.

The alleged offense occurred Feb. 25, and Cpl. D. H. Barksdale served the warrant Tuesday.

 Takeelya Mikeya Foster, 36, of Bishop Drive, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery.

The alleged offense occurred Monday, and Deputy W. F. Cross served the warrant Tuesday.

 Lacorey Beard, 31, of Beards Trail, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of vandalism. 

The alleged offense occurred Dec. 22, and Sgt. C. S. Yeatts served the warrant Thursday.
