Felony burglary charge lodged

A 45-year-old Nathalie man faces a felony charge of burglary with intent and a misdemeanor charge of petty larceny, according to Halifax County Sheriff’s Office records.

Ricky Nelson Moorman of Lennig Road was charged with the alleged offenses that occurred Dec. 31, and Sgt. Q. W. Clark served the warrants Friday.

 Cynthia Haley Spainhour, 35, of Howard P. Anderson Road, Halifax faces a felony charge of burglary with intent and a misdemeanor charge of petty larceny.

The alleged offenses occurred Dec. 31, and Deputy J. D. Tucker served the warrants Saturday.

Corey Brandon Powell, 23, of Jones Trail, Vernon Hill faces felony charges of grand larceny and burglary with intent.

The alleged offenses occurred Sept. 25, and Tucker served the warrants Saturday.

 Michael Leon Jefferson, 32, of Jackson Road, Chase City faces a felony charge of using false information to purchase a gun.

The alleged offense occurred Nov. 9, 2012, and Cpl. D. H. Barksdale served the warrant Friday.

 Allison Peyton Stevens, 18, of Wolf Trap Road, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery.

The alleged offense occurred Saturday, and Tucker served the warrant the same day.

 Robyn Christopher Martin, 20, of Piney Creek Road, Scottsburg faces five misdemeanor charges of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

The alleged offenses occurred April 15, and Deputy C. S. Hudson served the warrants Saturday.

 Keith Ray McMoore, 42, of Davis Street, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of driving on a suspended or revoked license.

The alleged offense occurred July 23, 2011, and Deputy W. F. Cross served the warrant Sunday.

 Christopher D. Dunkley, 18, of Suggs Avenue, South Boston faces misdemeanor charges of assault and battery, vandalism, trespassing with the intent to damage and trespassing to threaten.

The alleged offenses occurred Monday, and Deputy W. G. Yancey served the warrants the same day.

 David Lyons, 38, of Edmunds Street, South Boston faces charges of possessing a controlled substance and being drunk in public, according to South Boston Police Department records.

Officer J. B. Throckmorton served the warrant Friday, and Lyons was held with no bond.

 John Leundra Suitt, 40, of Ball Park Loop, Halifax faces a charge of driving under the influence. 

Officer S. L. Song served the warrant Sunday.
