Man faces grand larceny, credit card theft, fraud charges

A 26-year-old South Boston man faces felony charges of credit card theft, credit card fraud and grand larceny, according to Halifax County Sheriff’s Office records. 

David Michael Rowan of Phillips Creek Trail was charged with the alleged offenses that occurred Jan. 17, and Deputy W. G. Yancey served the warrants Sunday.

Samantha Renee Hutcherson, 25, of Hedderly Street, Halifax faces a felony charge of failing to register as a sex offender.

The alleged offense occurred Sept. 17, and Cpl. D. H. Barksdale served the warrant Monday.

 Keith Michael Ewing, 35, of Hunting Creek Road, Nathalie faces felony charges of disregarding a police command and violating the terms of his bail and misdemeanor charges of reckless driving/speeding, driving without a license, driving under the influence, possessing marijuana and obstruction of justice by threat.

The alleged offenses occurred Dec. 17, 2012 and April 2, and Deputy S. Britton served the warrants Monday.

 Jeffrey Overton, 42, of Overton Road, Victoria faces misdemeanor charges of making threats over the telephone and making annoying phone calls.

The alleged offenses occurred Jan. 30 and Feb. 3, and another agency served the warrants Friday.

 Jarrett Jerome Mays, 32, of Ball Park Loop, Halifax faces a misdemeanor charge of trespassing.

The alleged offense occurred Nov. 16, and Deputy T. H. Clarke served the warrant Saturday.

 Dylan Matthew Hunt, 24, of Meadowfield Court, Glen Allen faces misdemeanor charges of sexual assault and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

The alleged offenses occurred Aug. 31, and another agency served   the warrants Sunday.

 Christopher Lee Hammock, 30, of Wagstaff Lane, Scottsburg faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery on a family member.

The alleged offense occurred Saturday, and Deputy J. P. Adams served the warrant Monday.

 Jamale Akeem Waller, 22, of Eastover Drive, South Boston faces two misdemeanor charges of assault and battery and a misdemeanor charge of breach of peace.

The alleged offenses occurred Sunday, and Deputy Joseph Tucker served the warrants Monday.

 Terrence Lee Kirby, 40, of Mountain Road, Halifax faces a misdemeanor charge of contempt of court.

The alleged offense occurred Dec. 9, and Deputy R. L. Compton served the warrant Monday.

 Jennifer Lynn Scheiderer, 31, of Philpott Road, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of trespassing.

The alleged offense occurred Saturday, and Inv. T.A. Mocarsky served the warrant Monday.

 Brian Keith Carnes, 40, of Highway 58, Boydton, faces a charge of larceny for shoplifting, according to South Boston Police Department records.

Officer J. J. George served the warrant Thursday, and Carnes was released on summons.

 Albert Wendell Sanford, 52, of Ridge Street, South Boston faces a charge of being drunk in public.

Officer J. B. Throckmorton served the warrant Monday.

 David Lyons, 38, of Poplar Creek Street, South Boston faces a charge of being drunk in public. 

Officer A. C. Davis served the warrant Sunday.
