Halifax woman faces forgery, fraud, petty larceny charges

A 19-year-old Halifax woman faces three felony charges of forging a check, a felony charge of fraud and a misdemeanor charge of petty Larceny, according to Halifax County Sheriff’s Office records.

Amy Nicole Marshall of Grubby Road was charged with the alleged offenses that occurred Nov. 1 and Dec. 31, and Deputy C. S. Hudson served the warrants Tuesday.

Justin Allen Adkins, 21, of Cornelia Lane, Nathalie faces a felony charge of delivering drugs to a prisoner.

The alleged offense occurred Monday, and Task Force Officer T. O. Lewis served the warrant Wednesday.

 Michael Anthony Rondinelli, 19, of North Main Street, South Boston faces two felony charges of possessing a controlled substance and misdemeanor charges of carrying a concealed weapon, recklessly handling a firearm, possessing a Schedule IV controlled substance and illegally possessing alcohol while under the age of 21.

The alleged offenses occurred July 25, and Deputy R. L. Compton served the warrants Wednesday.

 Darryl Ramal Brooks, 32, of Patterson Avenue, Roanoke was issued a felony capias for a probation violation.

The alleged offense occurred Oct. 30, 2009, and Deputy D. K. Francis served the warrant Tuesday.

 Shemekia Wilson, 32, of Denny Cakes Road, Roxboro, N. C. faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery.

The alleged offense occurred Dec. 31, and Deputy W. F. Cross served the warrant Tuesday.

 Brian Thomas Short, 31, of Liberty Road, Nathalie faces a misdemeanor charge of making threats over the telephone.

The alleged offense occurred Sunday, and Capt. T. E. Logan served the warrant Tuesday.

 Jeremy Dion Powell, 27, of Clarkton Road, Nathalie faces a misdemeanor charge of being drunk in public and was issued a misdemeanor surety capias.

The alleged offenses occurred Nov. 2 and Jan. 24, and Cpl. S. M. Bowen served the warrant Tuesday.

 Taniqua Younger, 24, of Sinai Road, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of making annoying phone calls.

The alleged offense occurred Jan. 15, and Compton served the warrant Tuesday.

 Wendy Ann Gano, 30, of Brook Run Road, Halifax faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery on a family member.

The alleged offense occurred Jan. 24, and Compton served the warrant Tuesday.

 John Howard Harris Jr., 22, of Pine Ridge Trail, Vernon Hill faces a misdemeanor charge of contempt of court.

The alleged offense occurred Sept. 17, and Deputy J. L. Franco served the warrant Wednesday.

 Lisa Lynette Martin, 41, of Ash Avenue, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of embezzlement.

The alleged offense occurred Feb. 13, and Compton served the warrant Wednesday.

 Robert Lee Martin, 53, of Zion Hill Church Loop, Virgilina faces a misdemeanor charge of fraud.

The alleged offense occurred Oct. 28, and Compton served the warrant Wednesday.

 Christopher Robert McNamee, 41, of Brentwood Drive, South Boston faces charges of petty larceny and gas drive off, driving under the influence and refusing a breath test, according to South Boston Police Department records.

Cpl. T. N. Bratton served the warrants Sunday.  

 Tevin Rashon Smith, 21, of Bane Street, South Boston faces a charge of petty larceny.

Officer T. W. Bush served the warrant Wednesday, and Smith was held on a $1,000 unsecured bond.

  David Anthony Rose, 56, of Savoy Avenue, South Boston faces two counts of larceny from a vending machine/telephone and two counts of possessing burglary tools. He also faces charges of vandalism and petty larceny. 

Cpl. M. W. Bowen served the warrants Wednesday, and Rose was held on a $2,500 unsecured bond.
