Scottsburg woman faces drug charges

A 35-year-old Scottsburg woman faces four felony charges of distributing a controlled substance, according to Halifax County Sheriff’s Office records.

Jennifer Renee Conner of Dryburg Road was charged with the alleged offenses that occurred April 3 and 9, June 28 and July 30.  

Deputy W. F. Cross served the warrants Tuesday.

Virginia B. Lankford, 77, of Guill Town Road, Scottsburg faces six felony charges of forging a check and three felony charges of fraud.

The alleged offense occurred Dec. 24, 26 and 30, and Sqt. Q. W. Clark served the warrants Wednesday.

 Whitney Lane Myers, 25, of Ed Mason Lane, Nathalie faces a felony charge of selling a firearm to a felon and a felony charge of conspiracy.

The alleged offenses occurred Aug. 22, 2012, and Deputy R. L. Compton served the warrants Wednesday.

 Erik Stephen Edwards, 35, of East Franklin Street, Richmond faces a misdemeanor charge of being drunk in public.

The alleged offense occurred Tuesday, and Deputy W. G. Yancey served the warrant the same day.

 Stonnie Chandler, 20, of Poplar Creek Street, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of assault while being in a mob.

The alleged offense occurred Sept. 22, and Clark served the warrant Tuesday.

 Christopher Alan Loftis, 37, of Boyds Ferry Trail, South Boston faces misdemeanor charges of vandalism, trespassing and petty larceny.

The alleged offenses occurred June 5, and Deputy C. S. Hudson served the warrants Wednesday.

 Crystal Latoya Jackson, 28, of Hamilton Boulevard, South Boston faces two felony task force indictments of distributing a Schedule IV controlled substance and Schedule VI controlled substance, according to South Boston Police Department records.

The alleged offenses occurred Dec. 28, 2012, and Officer A. Davis served the warrants Tuesday.

Jackson was held on a $5,000 unsecured bond.

 David Anthony Rose, 56, of Savoy Avenue, South Boston faces felony task force indictments of distributing a Schedule III controlled substance and two task force indictments of distributing a Schedule IV controlled substance.

The alleged offenses occurred April 1 and March 8, and Officer T. W. Bush served the warrants Tuesday. 

Rose was held on a $7,500 secured bond. 

 John Will Lacks, 53, of Vaughan Street, South Boston faces a charge of being drunk in public.

Officer C. Mann served the warrant Tuesday.

 Alicia D. Easley, 18, of Hunting Hills Road, Danville faces a charge of larceny for shoplifting.

Cpl. A. E. Whitmore served the warrant Sunday.

 Charles Tyrell Foster, 18, of Philpott Road, South Boston faces a charge of larceny for shoplifting.

Whitmore served the warrant Sunday.

 Jasmine Char-nae Foster, 19, of Nottingham Drive, South Boston faces a charge of larceny for shoplifting.

Whitmore served the warrant Sunday.

Tray Palmer, 21, of Easley Hill Trail, Nathalie faces a misdemeanor charge of possession of marijuana, according to Halifax Police Department records. 

 he alleged offense occurred Saturday, and Officer Mike Smith served the warrant the same day.
