Halifax man faces kidnapping, vandalism, other charges

A 21-year-old Halifax man faces two felony charges of kidnapping and vandalism and two misdemeanor charges of assault and battery of a family member and violating a stalking protective order, according to Halifax County Sheriff’s Office records.

Steven Christopher Hubbard of L. P. Bailey Memorial Highway was charged with the alleged offenses that occurred Nov. 10, and Deputy W. F. Cross served the warrants Wednesday.

w Robert Michael Meadows, 44, of Carrington Street, South Boston faces two felony drug charges of distributing a controlled substance.

The alleged offenses occurred July 19, 2012 and Aug. 28, 2012, and Cross served the warrants Wednesday.

Corey Tremaine Lewis, 27, of Stage Coach Road, Nathalie faces a felony charge for violating his probation.

The alleged offense occurred Nov. 25, and Deputy J. P. Adams served the warrant Wednesday.

 Dominique Lacole Ferrell, 26, of Sinai Road, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of making threats over the telephone.

The alleged offense occurred Nov. 30, and Deputy R. L. Compton served the warrant Tuesday.

 Cheryl Hackney Marshall, 42, of Halifax Road, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge for breach of peace. 

The alleged offense occurred Monday, and Cross served the warrant Tuesday.

 Dustin Dale Farrar, 23, of Bethel Road, Scottsburg faces a misdemeanor charge for breach of peace.

The alleged offense occurred Monday, and Deputy J. L. Franco served the warrant on Tuesday.

 Robert Michael Marshall, 25, of Howard P. Anderson Road, Halifax faces a misdemeanor charge for breach of peace.

The alleged offense occurred Monday, and Deputy C. A. Bates V served the warrant Tuesday.

 Ashley Carter Guthrie, 40, of Scottsburg Road, Scottsburg faces misdemeanor charges of gas drive off and petty larceny.

The alleged offenses occurred Nov. 28, and Cpl. P. C. Clayton served the warrants Wednesday.

 James Osborne Edmonds Jr., 42, of Blue Rock Road, Vernon Hill faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery of a family member.

The alleged offense occurred Aug. 1, and Adams served the warrant Wednesday.

 Gerald Dale Edmonds Sr., 52, of Edmunds Street, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of contempt of court.

The alleged offense occurred Nov. 18, and Adams served the warrant Wednesday.

 Terrance Nevada Reed, 26, of Old Kings Highway, Keysville faces a misdemeanor charge of contempt of court.

The alleged offense occurred Nov. 12, and another agency served the warrant Wednesday.

 Steven D. Logan, 24, of Wilson Memorial Trail, Vernon Hill faces a misdemeanor charge of being drunk in public.

The alleged offense occurred Thursday, and Deputy S. Edmonds served the warrant the same day.

 A 21-year-old South Boston man faces a possession of marijuana charge, according to South Boston Police Department records.

Mel’Quan Deion Burrell of Summit Drive was charged Tuesday with the alleged offense by Officer R. L. Lawson. Burrell was released on summons.

 David Scott Vicks, 36, of Tanglewylde Drive, South Boston faces charges for contempt of court, possession of marijuana and driving on a suspended license.

Cpl. A. E. Whitmore served the warrants Tuesday. Vicks was held on a $3,500 secured bond.

 Donald Lee Ligon, 52, of Scottsburg Road, Scottsburg faces a charge of assault and battery of a family member.

Officer B. H. Smith served the warrant Tuesday, and Ligon was held on a $2,500 unsecured bond.

 Elizabeth Bruce Murray, 32, of Murray Road, South Boston faces a charge of being drunk in public.

Whitmore served the warrant Wednesday.

 Gerald Dale Edmonds, 52, of Edmunds Street, South Boston faces a charge of larceny for shoplifting.

Officer A. C. Davis served the warrant Wednesday, and Edmonds was released on summons.

 Mikayla Justine Boyd, 19, of Coles Ferry Road, Nathalie faces a charge of petty larceny.

Officer T. W. Bush served the warrant Wednesday, and Boyd was released on summons.

 Keyona Lashay Woody, 19, of Henry Trail, Nathalie faces a charge of petty larceny.

Bush served the warrant Wednesday, and Woody was released on summons.
