Halifax woman faces embezzlement charges

A 36-year-old Halifax woman faces three felony charges of embezzlement over $200, according to Halifax County Sheriff’s Office records.

Brooke Francisco Jennings of Cedar Fork Road was charged with the alleged offenses that occurred March 1, 2012, Sept. 1, 2012 and March 1, 2013. Deputy T. B. Sargent served the warrant Thursday.

 Kristine Faith Madigan, 46, of Country Lane, Scottsburg faces a felony charge of fraud and a misdemeanor charge of making false reports to police.

The alleged offenses occurred July 30, 2012 and Sept. 11, and Deputy C. S. Hudson served the warrants Thursday.

 Murray Durrell Sanford, 44, of Wake County Jail, Wake Forest, N. C. was issued a felony capias for violating probation and faces a misdemeanor charge of violating the terms of his good behavior.

The alleged offenses occurred Sept. 18, 2012 and Aug. 20, 2012, and Deputy T. H. Clarke served the warrant Thursday.

 Tysheem Shamad Holt, 19, of Lincoln Drive, South Boston faces a felony charge of eluding police and misdemeanor charges of reckless driving for speeding and reckless driving for passing two cars.

The alleged offenses occurred Aug. 15, 2013, and Deputy Clarke served the warrants Thursday.

 Tobshiba Shawnay Jones, 23, of Murphy Grove Road, Halifax was issued a misdemeanor surety capias.

 The alleged offense occurred Nov. 5, and Cpl. D. H. Barksdale served the warrant Thursday.

 Leroy Harris, 66, of Wilson Memorial Trail, Vernon Hill faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery.

The alleged offense occurred Thursday, and Deputy J. M. Burton served the capias the same day.

 A 22-year-old South Boston man faces charges of possession of marijuana and carrying a concealed weapon, according to South Boston Police Department records.

Carlton Maurice White of Mallard Lane was charged with the alleged offenses on Saturday. Officer J. J. George served the warrant, and White was released on a $5,000 unsecured bond.

 Alacia Johnson, 22, of Woodbrook Avenue, South Boston faces a charge of larceny for shoplifting.

Officer J. B. Throckmorton served the warrant Friday, and A. Johnson was released on summons.

 Tanya Lynette Johnson, 39, of Woodbrook Avenue, South Boston faces a charge of larceny for shoplifting.

Throckmorton served the warrant Friday, and T. Johnson was held on $7,500 secured bond.

 Edwin Alexander Villeda Jr., 18, of Hamilton Boulevard, South Boston faces a charge of assault and battery of a family member.

Throckmorton served the warrant Friday.

 Isaac Junior Brandon, 53, of Ridge Street, South Boston faces a charge of being drunk in public.

Officer T. W. Bush served the warrant Saturday.

 Ronald Alvin Waller, 55, of Robin Hood Road, South Boston faces a charge of being drunk in public.

Officer A. C. Davis served the warrant Saturday.

 Gabriel Antonio Williams, 39, of Trestle Road, Clarksville faces a charge of being drunk in public.

Davis served the warrant Sunday.

 Tracy Marcel Marable, 51, of High View Road, Halifax faces a charge of being a fugitive from justice without warrant.

Throckmorton served the warrant Sunday, and Marable was held on a $1,000 secured bond.

 Ste-Fon Demario Davis, 18, of Union Church Road, Halifax faces a charge of trespassing.

Bush served the warrant Monday, and Davis was held on a $2,500 unsecured bond.

 Isis Woody, 37, of Vaughan Street, South Boston faces a charge of fraud by false pretense.

Throckmorton served the warrant Monday.

 Trent Hundley Gilliland Jr., 34, of Robin Hood Road, South Boston faces a charge of assault and battery and telephone equipment vandalism.

Officer R. L. Lawson served the warrant Monday, and Gilliland was released on his own recognizance.

 Delores Ann Terry, 39, of Pine Trail, Halifax faces a charge of pre-trial violation.

Cpl. J. C. Berry served the warrant Monday, and Terry was held with no bond.

 Cassandra Dixon, 43, of Bane Street, South Boston faces a charge of violating a protective order.

Lawson served the warrant Monday, and Dixon was released on her own recognizance.

 Melany Kathryn Walter, 34, of Cole Lane, Scottsburg faces a charge of driving under the influence. 

Berry served the warrant Tuesday.
