Alton pair faces larceny charges

A 19-year-old Alton woman and a 36-year-old Alton woman face charges of grand larceny, according to South Boston Police Department records.

Katie Jo Bowes of Cluster Springs Road was charged with the alleged offense Wednesday, and Cpl. A. E. Whitmore served the warrant. Bowes was held on a  $2,000 unsecured bond.

Stacey Jeanine Howlet Stevens, 36, of Cluster Springs Road also faces a charge of grand larceny.

Whitmore served the warrant Wednesday, and Bowes was held on a $1,000 secured bond.

 Stacey C. Chism, 29, of Paradise Road, Alton faces a charge of larceny for shoplifting.

Sgt. F. M. Edmunds served the warrant Tuesday, and Chism was released on summons.
