Clover man faces 10 felony check charges

A 39-year-old Clover man faces 10 felony charges of forgery by check, according to Halifax County Sheriff’s Office records.

Ricky Samuel Lacks of Coleman Ferry Road, Clover was charged with the alleged offenses that occurred Oct. 24, 25, 28 and 30.

Another agency served the warrants Thursday.

Diana Satterfield, 48, of River Road, South Boston faces a felony charge of fraud under false pretense and a misdemeanor charge of obtaining with intent to defraud. 

The alleged offenses occurred Jan. 11, and Deputy C. A. Bates V served the warrants Wednesday.

 Hugh Brent Wilmouth, 31, of Guill Town Road, Scottsburg faces a felony charge of writing a bad check for over $200 two days, and two misdemeanor charges of writing a back check for less than $200.

The alleged offenses occurred Sept. 19, March 20 and March 14, and Deputy T. A. Mocarsky served the warrants Thursday.

 Tiffany Royal Mitchell, 33, of Poplar Creek Street, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery of a family member.

The alleged offense occurred Nov. 3, and Deputy R. L. Compton served the warrant Thursday.
