Nathalie man faces charge of being a fugitive

A 19-year-old Nathalie man faces a felony charge of being a fugitive, according to Halifax County Sheriff’s Office records.

George Wesley Garrett III of Coles Ferry Road was charged with the alleged offense that occurred Thursday, and Dep. J. M. Burton served the warrant the same day.

Roger Neal Francis, 37, of Philpott Road, South Boston faces misdemeanor charges of assault and battery of a family member and violating a juvenile protective order

The alleged offenses occurred Tuesday, and Sgt. C. S. Yeatts and Dep. J. P. Adams served the warrants Wednesday.

 James Kasean Gooden, 28, of Love Shop Park Road in South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of petty larceny.

The alleged offense occurred Tuesday, and Adams served the warrant Wednesday.

 Joseph Carroll Clay, 34, of Runaway Road, Nathalie faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery of a family member.

The alleged offense occurred Wednesday, and Adams served the warrant Thursday.

 Maureen Lora Roberts, 43, of Boyds Ferry Trail, South Boston faces three misdemeanor charges of vandalism, petty larceny and trespassing.

The alleged offenses occurred June 5, and Dep. C. S. Hudson served the warrants Thursday.

 Mandy L. Hammock, 34, of Garretts Trail, Clover faces a misdemeanor charge of extortion by threat.

The alleged offense occurred Sept. 26, and Yeatts served the warrant Thursday.

 Robert Lindbergh Hamlett, 62, of Oak Level Road, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery of a family member. 

The alleged offense occurred Tuesday, and Dep. J. O. Tanner Jr. served the warrant Thursday.
