Clover man faces eight felony charges

Christopher Wilson Strange, 27, of Mosley Ferry Road, Clover faces five felony charges of intent to burglarize, three felony charges of grand larceny and six misdemeanor charges of vandalism, according to Halifax County Sheriff’s Office records.

The alleged   offenses occurred Aug. 7, 2012, April 15, April 21, May 9, June 18 and June 20, and Cpl. P. C. Clayton served the warrants Monday.

w Edward Hanie Poindexter, 64, of Paul James Road, Halifax faces a felony charge of being a convicted felon possessing a firearm.

The alleged offense occurred Monday, and Deputy J. P. Adams   served the warrant the same day.

w Ronnie Dean Newbill, 51, of Owens Avenue, South Boston was issued a felony capias for a probation violation.

The alleged offenses occurred Thursday, and Deputy T. B. Sargent served the warrant Monday.

w Jeffrey Wallace Comer, 35, of First Street, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery on a family member.

The alleged offense occurred Saturday, and Deputy W. G. Yancey served the warrant the same day.

w Shelby Dean Wilmouth, 44, of Old Grubby Road, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery on a family member.

The alleged offense occurred Sunday, and Yancey served the warrant the same day.

w Kristine Faith Madigan, 46, of Country Lane, Scottsburg faces a misdemeanor charge of violating a stalking protective order.

The alleged offense occurred Sept. 29, and Deputy T. H. Clarke served the warrant Monday.

w Jennifer Courtney Gardner, 21, of Sinai Road, South Boston faces a felony charge of assault with intent to maim, according to South   Boston Police Department records.

Officer F. A. Powell served the warrant Sunday, and Gardner was held without bond.

w William Scott Adams, 30, of Old Cluster Springs Road, South Boston faces a charge of larceny for shoplifting.

 

Cpl. T. N. Bratton served the warrant Sunday, and Adams was released on summons.
