Nathalie man facing grand larceny charges

A 19-year-old Nathalie man faces two felony charges of grand larceny, according to Halifax County Sheriff’s Office records.

Dustin Aaron Brightwell of Perth Road was charged with the alleged offenses that occurred July 1 and Sept. 8, and Deputy J. M. Burton served the warrants Friday.

Kenneth Wayne Snead, 37, of Hurdle Mills Road, Hurdle Mills, N.C., was issued a felony capias for violating probation.

The offense occurred March 19, 2009 and Deputy D. K. Francis served the capias Saturday.

 Anthony Taft Vaden, 37, of Cornelias Lane, Nathalie was issued a felony capias for violating probation.

The alleged offense occurred Sept. 13, and Deputy W. F. Cross served the capias Monday.

 Donald Wayne Bomar Sr., 51, of Hog Wallow Road, Nathalie faces misdemeanor charges of assault and battery and trespassing.

The alleged offenses occurred Sept. 18, and Sgt. Q. W. Clark served the warrants Saturday.

 Christina Ann Mayes, 32, of Hog Wallow Road, Nathalie faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery, three misdemeanor charges of trespassing and two misdemeanor charges of breach of peace.

The alleged offenses occurred Sept. 18, 19 and 20. Clark served the warrants Saturday.

 Donald Wayne Bomar Jr., 31, of Hog Wallow Road, Nathalie faces misdemeanor charges of assault and battery and trespassing.

The alleged offenses occurred Sept. 18, and Deputy W. G. Nunn served the warrants Saturday.

 Alicia Smith, 22, of McCulloch Lane, Nathalie faces a misdemeanor charge of harassment by computer.

The alleged offense occurred Friday, and Burton served the warrant Saturday.

 Gary Lee Foster, 56, of Delaware Street, Clover faces a misdemeanor charge of petty larceny.

The alleged offense occurred Sunday, and Cross served the warrant the same day.

 Larry Donnell Boyd, 52, of Reverend Coleman Road, Clover faces two misdemeanor charges of petty larceny.

The alleged offenses occurred Sunday, and Cross served the warrants the same day.

 Floyd Logan, 66, of Ball Park Loop, Halifax faces a misdemeanor contempt of court charge.

The alleged offense occurred Friday, and Deputy S. Edmonds served the warrant Monday.  

 Michael Lee Clay, 21, of Union Church Road, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of violating a juvenile protective order.

The alleged offense occurred Sept. 5, and Edmonds served the warrant Monday.

 Jessica Lorraine Gilliam, 37, of Lewis Ford Road, Gladys faces a misdemeanor charge of being drunk in public.

The alleged offense occurred Tuesday, and Clark served the warrant the same day.

 Lionel Russell Barnette, 50, of Willow Street, South Boston faces a charge of driving under the influence, according to South Boston Police Department records.

Officer T. W. Bush served the warrant Saturday.

 Scott M Parrish Jr., 20, of Gathas Trail, Halifax faces a misdemeanor charge of being a minor under 21 in illegal possession of alcohol.

Officer F. A. Powell served the warrant Sunday, and Parrish was released on summons.

 Andrea Kay Epps, 28, of Bull Creek Road, Nathalie faces a charge of driving under the influence.

Officer A. C. Davis served the warrant Sunday.

 Bruce Edward Jackson Jr., 18, of Greenfield Road, South Boston faces charges of vandalism, trespassing, larceny by credit card theft, credit card fraud and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Officer J. B. Throckmorton served the warrants Sunday, and Jackson was held on a $6,000 secured bond.

 Darrell Lenzie Villines, 40, of Turbeville Road, Alton faces a charge of driving under the influence. 

Davis served the warrant Monday.
