A pair of Halifax County men faces multiple drug charges following their arrests Sunday and Monday on multiple indictments.
Wongee Boyd Williams, 24, of Joe Jackson Trail in Halifax was arrested Sunday after being wanted on 10 indictments, and Jason Theodore Bradley, 30, of Brown’s Trail, Clover was arrested Monday on eight indictments, according to Virginia State Police Special Agent R. B. George, coordinator of the task force.
Halifax Sheriff’s Office Deputy W. G. Nunn arrested Williams on four counts of distribution of cocaine, two counts of child endangerment, one count of possession of a firearm while in possession of cocaine, one count of possession of a firearm while distributing cocaine, one count of possession of marijuana and one count of possession of cocaine.
Halifax/South Boston Regional Narcotics and Gang Task Force members with the help of South Boston Police Officer Sheng L. Song arrested Bradley on three counts of cocaine distribution, two counts of cocaine possession with intent to distribute, one count of possession of a firearm while in possession of cocaine, one count of marijuana possession with intent to distribute and one count of possession of a Schedule I narcotic.
Song transported Bradley to the Halifax Detention Center where he is being held without bond, George said.
Agencies participating in the two arrests include Halifax County Sheriff’s Office, South Boston Police Department, Virginia State Police and Halifax Regional Narcotics and Gang Task Force.
