South Boston suspect faces multiple charges

A 33-year-old South Boston man faces charges of assault and battery of a family member, burglary with felony intent, strangling, choking another, and contempt of court, according to South Boston Police Department records.

Kerry Lawrence Clark of Glendale Drive was arrested on the charges Thursday. Officer A. C. Davis served the warrants.

Clark was held on a $10,000 secured bond on the strangling, choking another charge.

Michael Anthony Rondinelli, 18, of North Main Street, South Boston faces charges of possession of a controlled substance, distribution of a controlled substance, possession of firearm and drugs and discharging a firearm in public.

Cpl. J. C. Berry served the warrant Thursday.

Rondinelli was held with no bond.

 Maria Joanne Lucado Holt, 29, of Mayo Loop, Virgilina faces a misdemeanor charge of being drunk in public, according to Halifax County Sheriff’s Office records. 

The alleged incident occurred Thursday, and Dep. J. L. Franco served the warrant the same day.
