Nathalie woman faces drug charge

A 40-year-old Nathalie woman faces a charge of selling and distributing a Schedule III controlled substance, according to Halifax County Sheriff’s Office records.

Sherry Hughes Hackney of Bates Trail was charged with the alleged offense that occurred April 3, and Sgt. Q. W. Clark served the warrant Friday.

Keonita Jamar Waller, 23, of Wilson Memorial Trail, Vernon Hill faces a felony charge of possessing a controlled substance.

The alleged offense occurred April 12, and Deputy T. B. Sargent served the warrant Thursday.

 Troy M. Weatherford, 37, of Liberty Road, Nathalie faces two felony charges of child neglect.

The alleged offenses occurred Sunday, and Clark served the warrant Monday.

 Jerry Lovelace Martin Jr., 31, of Eastover Drive, South Boston faces a felony charge of selling or distributing a Schedule III substance.

The alleged offense occurred March 5, and Deputy W. G. Nunn served the warrant Monday.

 Michael L. Willis-Rockett, 22, of Bethel Road, Halifax was issued a felony capias for a probation violation, and he also faces a misdemeanor charge of vandalism.

The alleged probation violation offense occurred Sept. 1, 2011, and  the alleged vandalism offense occurred March 28, 2012.

Sgt. D. W. Martin served the warrants Monday.

  Kwamane Stovall, 20, of Thomas Trail, Halifax faces two misdemeanor charges of vandalism, two misdemeanor charges of assault and battery and a misdemeanor charge of breach of peace.

The alleged offenses occurred Thursday, and Deputy S. Edmonds served the warrants the same day.

 Porchula Stovall, 22, of West Forest Trail, South Boston faces two misdemeanor charges of assault and battery.

The alleged offenses occurred Thursday, and Edmonds served one warrant the same day, and Clark served the other warrant on Sunday.

 Bryson Marquis Coles, 28, of Calvary Road, Alton faces misdemeanor charges of possessing marijuana and obstructing justice by threat.

The alleged offenses occurred Thursday, and Deputy T. H. Clarke served the warrants the same day.

 Kevin Wayne Phillips, 26, of Sweeney Trail, Halifax faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery on a family member.

The alleged offense occurred Thursday, and Deputy C. S. Hudson served the warrant Friday.

 Kimberly L. Brooks, 39, of Bill Tuck Highway, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery.

The alleged offense occurred July 24, and Clark served the warrant Friday.

 Shytiqua Williams, 18, of Sinai Road, South Boston faces two misdemeanor charges of assault and battery.

The alleged offenses occurred Thursday, and Clark served the warrants Friday.

 Yvette Williams, 41, of Sinai Road, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery.

The alleged offense occurred Thursday, and Clark served the warrant Friday.

 Robert Darryl Mason, 39, of Reverend Coleman Road, Clover faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery on a family member.

The alleged offense occurred Saturday, and Sgt. C. S. Yeatts served the warrant the same day.

 Brian Kenneth Pumphrey, 31, of Winstead Drive, Danville faces a misdemeanor charge of being drunk in public.

The alleged offense occurred Saturday, and Deputy C. S. Hudson served the warrant the same day.

 Christopher K. Pumphrey, 26, of River Road, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of being drunk in public.

The alleged offense occurred Saturday, and Hudson served the warrant the same day.

 Tajonda Ross, 32, of Jeffress Boulevard, South Boston faces misdemeanor charges of vandalism and breach of peace.

The alleged offenses occurred Thursday, and Clark served the warrant Saturday.

 Corderal Leon Hughes, 25, of River Road, South Boston faces misdemeanor charges of contempt of court, vandalism and assault and battery of a family member.

The alleged offenses occurred July 8 and Saturday, and Hudson served a warrant Sunday, while Clark served a warrant Monday.

 Barry L. Dasheill, 39, of Waddell Court, South Boston faces two misdemeanor charges of failing to report to jail.

The alleged offenses occurred Sept. 22, 1997 and June 29, 1998, and Inv. T. A. Mocarsky served the warrants Sunday.

 Charles Brantley Mims II, 42, of Philpott Road, South Boston faces misdemeanor charges of being drunk in public and assault and battery of a family member.

The alleged offenses occurred Sunday and Monday, and Cpl. D. H. Barksdale served the warrants Monday.

 Star Modina Thaxton, 19, of Hunters Lane, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of stalking.

The alleged offense occurred July 10, and Clark served the warrant Monday.
