South Boston man facing felony drug charges

A 28-year-old South Boston man faces felony charges of distributing a controlled substance, possessing firearms while in possession of drugs and being a convicted felon with a firearm and a misdemeanor charge of selling and distributing marijuana, according to Halifax County Sheriff’s Office records.

Carmichael J. Howerton of Birch Elmo Road was charged with the alleged offenses that occurred Jan. 22, and Sgt. Q. W. Clark served the warrants Tuesday.

Samuel Link Woody II, 35, of Berry Hill Road, South Boston faces a felony charge of distributing a controlled substance and a misdemeanor charge of selling and distributing marijuana.

The alleged offenses occurred Jan. 22, and Clark served the warrants Tuesday.

 Robyn Taylor Patterson, 29, of Oak Level Road, South Boston faces a felony charge of possessing a controlled substance and misdemeanor charges of violating a juvenile protective order, driving under the influence and two counts of vandalism.

The alleged offenses occurred Dec. 10, and Clark served the warrants Tuesday.

 Kenneth Wayne Nagle, 53, of Chatham Road, Nathalie faces a felony charge of being a fugitive.

The alleged offense occurred Tuesday, and Deputy J. P. Adams served the warrant the same day.

 Lawrence William Richardson, 25, of Slick Rock Road, Nathalie faces a felony charge of possessing a controlled substance and a misdemeanor charge of driving on a suspended or revoked license.

The alleged offenses occurred June 24 and Sept. 8, 2012, and Clark served the warrants Wednesday.

 Linda Peters Wood, 56, of Suggs Avenue, South Boston faces a felony charge of assaulting a police officer.

The alleged offense occurred July 10, and Clark served the warrant Wednesday.

 Lillian Reamer Terry, 55, of Farrow Lane, Bullock, N.C., faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery on a family member.

The alleged offense occurred June 10, and Inv. C. J. Yeatts served the warrant Tuesday.

 John Leaundra Suitt, 40, of Ball Park Loop, Halifax faces misdemeanor charges of driving on a suspended or revoked license and obtaining with the intent to defraud.

The alleged offenses occurred March 21, and Clark served the warrants Tuesday.

 Michael Anthony Green Jr., 20, of Old Cluster Springs Road, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery on a family member.

The alleged offense occurred Tuesday, and Deputy J. L. Franco served the warrant the same day.

 Kimber Leigh Crenshaw, 21, of Old Cluster Springs Road, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery.

The alleged offense occurred Tuesday, and Franco served the warrant the same day.

 Matthew Patrick Kirby, 35, of Golf Course Road, Halifax faces a misdemeanor charge of obstruction of justice by threat.

The alleged offense occurred Tuesday, and Deputy S. Edmonds served the warrant the same day.

 Galvin Lee Omar Coleman, 20, of Lower Liberty Road, Halifax faces misdemeanor charges of vandalism and possessing marijuana.

The alleged offenses occurred Sept. 16, 2012, and Clark served the warrants Wednesday.

 Joshua Noble Hall, 24, of River Road, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery on a family member.

The alleged offense occurred July 12, and Cpl. P. C. Clayton served the warrant Wednesday.

 Sharona Monique Bruce, 34, of Volens Road, Nathalie faces charges of grand larceny, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and driving without a license, according to South Boston Police Department records.

Cpl. S. L. Song served the indictments Wednesday.

 Jeremy Dontray Polk, 25, of Hamilton Boulevard, South Boston faces a charge of marijuana distribution.

Officer R. J. Mead served the indictment Tuesday.

 Sherman Maurice Roberts, 31, of Logan Street, South Boston faces charges of driving on a suspended or revoked license, driving under the influence and identity theft.

Officer J. B. Throckmorton served the indictments Tuesday.

 Jacqueline Chappell Cook, 48, of Briggs Street, South Boston faces two charges of making threats over a telephone.

Officer R. L. Lawson served the warrants Tuesday.
