Nathalie woman faces drug charge

A 40-year-old Nathalie woman faces four felony charges of distributing a controlled substance, according to Halifax County Sheriff’s Office records.

Sherry Hughes Hackney of Bates Trail was charged with the alleged offenses that occurred Feb. 26 and March 5, and Cpl. P. C. Clayton served the warrants Friday.

 Crystal Gayle Crews, 35, of Acorn Road, Nathalie faces two felony charges of grand larceny.

The alleged offenses occurred Feb. 23, and Deputy T. H. Clarke served the warrants Friday.

 Charlie David Hendricks Jr., 55, of Easley Hill Trail, Nathalie faces a felony charge of being a habitual offender and a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence.

The alleged offenses occurred Jan. 28, 2012, and Inv. T. A. Mocarsky served the warrants Saturday.

 Charlie Allen Hamlett, 24, of Ridge Street, South Boston faces a felony charge of possessing a controlled substance.

The alleged offense occurred Nov. 9, and Deputy C. A. Bates V served the warrant Monday.

 Natasha Beadles, 25, of Cluster Springs Road, Alton faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery.

The alleged offense occurred June 10, and Deputy C. S. Hudson served the warrant Friday.

 Cynthia Baker, 54, of Paradise Road, Alton faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery.

The alleged offense occurred June 10, and Clarke served the warrant Friday.

 Mark Allen Dickerson, 43, of Cedar Grove Road, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of being drunk in public.

The alleged offense occurred Sunday, and Cpl. S.M. Bowen served the warrant the same day.

 Virginia Robbins, 49, of Clays Mill Road, Halifax faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery on a family member.

The alleged offense occurred June 10, and Sgt. C. S. Yeatts served the warrant Monday.

 Garry Ward, 56, of John B. Scott Trail, Scottsburg faces a misdemeanor charge of breach of peace.

The alleged offense occurred June 10, and Yeatts served the warrant Monday.

 Jacob Isaac Marshall Gatlin, 25, of Craddock Street, Halifax faces a charge of being drunk in public, according to South Boston Police Department records.

Cpl. M. W. Bowen served the warrant Saturday.

 Nelson R. Screen, 35, of Deer Ridge Trail, South Boston faces charges of driving under the influence, possession of marijuana and refusal to take a breath test.

Officer T. W. Bush served the warrant Sunday, and Screen was released on his own recognizance.

 Jason Brandon Sparks, 29, of Tanglewylde Apartments, South Boston faces a charge of trespassing. 

Cpl. C. L. Berry served the warrant Sunday, and Sparks was released on his own recognizance.
