Nathalie man facing grand larceny charges

A 19-year-old Nathalie man faces two felony charges of grand larceny, according to Halifax County Sheriff’s Office records.

Jamal K. Thaxton of Golden Leaf Road was charged with the alleged offenses that occurred Feb. 23.

Deputy W. F. Cross served the warrants Thursday.

Camilla Marie Tucker, 25, of Paul Pry Trail, Halifax faces a felony charge of forgery.

The alleged offense occurred March 23, and Deputy T. A. Mocarsky served the warrant Thursday.

 Bryson Marquis Coles, 28, of Calvary Road, Alton faces a felony charge of assault while applying pressure and a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery of a family member.

The alleged offenses occurred Thursday, and Cross served the warrant the same day.

 Charles Glenn Cousins, 50, of Stone Wall Court, Danville faces a felony charge of failure to appear.

The alleged offense occurred Feb. 11, and Mocarsky served the warrant Thursday.

 Wayne Caroll Ward, 56, of Mulberry Road, Nathalie faces a felony charge of probation violation.

The alleged offense occurred Feb. 7, 2011, and Mocarsky issued the capias Friday.

 Catherine Anne Carey, 30, of L. P. Bailey Memorial Highway, Halifax, faces a misdemeanor charge of trespassing.

The alleged offense occurred Tuesday, and Mocarsky served the warrant Thursday.

 Angel Paige Jenkins, 33, of Love Shop Park Road, South Boston faces four misdemeanor charges of assault and battery of a family member.

The alleged offenses occurred Tuesday, and Deputy J. O. Tanner Jr. served the warrant Thursday.

 Jerry Lee Womack, 47, of Acorn Road, Nathalie faces a misdemeanor charge of being drunk in public.

The alleged offense occurred Thursday, and Mocarsky served the warrant the same day.

 Quenton David Brown, 26, of Porter Lane, South Boston, faces a misdemeanor contempt of court charge.

The alleged offense occurred May 13, and Deputy T. B. Sargent served the warrant Thursday.

 Ricky Marcell Chandler, 49, of Bane Street, South Boston faces a trespassing charge, according to South Boston Police Department records.

Officer J. B. Throckmorton served the warrant Thursday.

 Rachelle Denise Newman, 26, of Hamilton Boulevard, South Boston faces a charge of assault and battery. 

Officer R. L. Lawson served the warrant Thursday.
