Halifax woman faces neglect charges

A 26-year-old Halifax woman faces three felony charges of child neglect and a misdemeanor charge of selling and distributing less than one half an ounce of marijuana, according to Halifax County Sheriff’s Office records.

Shemeka Shuntae Chisholm of Coates Trail was charged with the alleged offenses that occurred Sunday, and Inv. T. A. Mocarsky served the warrants the same day.

Walter Collazo Jr., 32, of Ellie Avenue, Fayetteville, N. C. faces a capias charge for a probation violation.

The alleged offense occurred April 10, 2008, and Sgt. Q. W. Clark issued the capias Thursday.

 Corey Thomas Angel, 20, of Avondale Drive, South Boston faces two misdemeanor charges of assault and battery. 

The alleged offenses occurred May 30, and Clark served the warrants June 5.

 Lydia Rashanda Askew, 23, of Ferry Street, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery on a family member.

The alleged offense occurred June 4, and Clark served the warrant June 5.

 Dominique Raysha Davis, 22, of Buffalo Road, Long Island faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery.

The alleged offense occurred May 19, and Clark served the warrant June 5.

 Harvey Mark Perkins, 45, of Drybridge Road, Scottsburg faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery.

The alleged offense occurred May 28, and Clark served the warrant June 5.

 Patty Ann Wells, 58, of Cherry Hill Church Road, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery.

The alleged offense occurred May 29, and Clark served the warrant Thursday.

 Amber Dawn Davis, 19, of Hilltop Drive, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of failure to appear in court.

The alleged offense occurred May 29, and Clark served the warrant Thursday.

 Lottie Wells West, 29, of Indian Trail Road, Buffalo Junction faces a misdemeanor charge of contempt of court.

The alleged offense occurred April 9, and Cpl. D. H. Barksdale served the warrant Saturday.

 Michael Velasquez Gonzalez, 22, of Brooklyn Road, Sutherlin faces a misdemeanor charge of being drunk in public.

The alleged offense occurred Saturday, and Deputy C. A. Bates V served the warrant the same day.

 Floyd Logan, 66, of Mallard Lane, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of trespassing.

The alleged offense occurred Saturday, and Bates served the warrant the same day.

 Calvin Wayne Revis Jr., 29, of Dudley Road, Halifax faces a misdemeanor charge of being drunk in public.

The alleged offense occurred Saturday, and Sgt. C. S. Yeatts served the warrant the same day.

 Antiwon Sydnor, 20, of Bagwell Drive, Scottsburg faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery on a family member.

The alleged offense occurred Saturday, and Bates served the warrant Sunday.

 Jasil Colin Monzon, 25, of Berry Hill Road, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery on a family member.

 The alleged offense occurred Sunday, and Barksdale served the warrant the same day.

 Jerry Lee Womack, 47, of Acorn Road, Nathalie faces a misdemeanor charge of being drunk in public.

The alleged offense occurred Sunday, and Cpl. S. M. Bowen served the warrant the same day.

 DeJesus Marroquin Reyes, 49, of Haskins Street, South Boston faces charges of driving without a license and driving under the influence, according to South Boston Police Department records.

Officer T. W. Bush served the warrants Tuesday, and Reyes  was held on a $1,000 secured bond.
