South Boston man faces drug charge

A 25-year-old South Boston man faces a drug charge for distributing marijuana, according to South Boston Police Department records.

Terrance Nevada Reed was charged with the alleged offense that occurred in Pittsylvania County, and Officer R. L. Lawson served the warrant for Pittsylvania County Sheriff’s Office Friday.

Tammy Aleia Newman, 18, of South Boston faces charges of larceny for shoplifting and trespassing.

Officer J. B. Throckmorton served the warrant Thursday, and Newman was held on a secured bond.

 Sheina Lemont Robinson, 49, of Halifax faces a charge of larceny for shoplifting.

 

Lawson served the warrant Thursday, and Robinson was released on summons.
