North Carolina man faces felony fugitive charge

A 49-year-old Oxford, N.C. man faces a felony charge of being a fugitive, according to Halifax County Sheriff’s Office records.

Sidney Randolph Reece of Enon Road was charged with the alleged offense that occurred Thursday. Deputy J. P. Adams served the warrant the same day.

Vakeesha Letrice Stovall, 26, of Wilson Road, Virgilina faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery of a family member.

The alleged offense occurred Thursday, and Deputy T. H. Clarke served the warrant Friday.

 Terrell Laquan Miller, 23, of Wilson Road, Virgilina faces a misdemeanor charge of assault of battery of a family member.

The alleged offense occurred Thursday, and Deputy W. F. Cross served the warrant Friday.

 David Judah Ragland, 26, of South Boston faces a drug charge for distributing a controlled substance.

Officer C. M. Mann served the warrant Wednesday, and Ragland was held on a $3,000 secured bond.

 John Howard Harris Jr., 21, of Vernon Hill faces charges of possessing a controlled substance, contempt of court and probation violation.

Officer A. E. Whitmore served the warrants Friday.

 Elijah Jarrod Porter, 40, of South Boston faces two drug charges including distributing cocaine and conspiracy to distribute cocaine.

Porter was held without bond.

 Phillip Howard Wimbush, 53, of South Boston faces two counts of manufacturing/distributing an imitation Schedule III, IV, V drug.

Wimbush was held on a $10,000 unsecured bond.

 Nathaniel Freeman-Gayles, 43, of South Boston faces a charge of manufacturing/distributing an imitation Schedule III, IV, V drug.

He was  held on $10,000 unsecured bond.
