SoBo man faces drug charge

A 62-year-old South Boston man faces a felony charge of possessing a controlled substance, according to Halifax County Sheriff’s Office reports.

Robert Lindbergh Hamlett of Oak Level Road was charged with the alleged offense that occurred Sept. 27, and Deputy T. A. Mocarsky served the warrant Friday.

Mickey Allen Anderson Jr., 23, of German Creek Road, South Boston faces a felony charge of the unauthorized use of a vehicle valued at $200 or more.

The alleged offense occurred Thursday, and Deputy C. S. Hudson served the warrant Friday.

 Phillip Andrew Smith, 33, of James D. Hagood Highway, Scottsburg faces a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery on a family member.

The alleged offense occurred Thursday, and Hudson served the warrant Friday.

 Rolando Nicolas, 33, of Philpott Road, South Boston faces a misdemeanor charge of false identification.

The alleged offense occurred Sunday, and Deputy T. H. Clarke served the warrant the same day.

 Rodney Oneil Davis, 40, of Pine Heights Trail, Halifax faces a misdemeanor charge of contempt of court.

The alleged offense occurred Dec. 10, and Cpl. P. C. Clayton served the warrant Monday.

 Eric Tywon Jackson, 35, of Ball Park Loop, Halifax faces a misdemeanor charge of inflicting injury to an animal.

The alleged offense occurred March 11, and Deputy S. M. Bowen served the warrant Monday.

 Dominique Raysha Davis, 22, of Church Street, Lynchburg faces misdemeanor charges of being drunk in public and preventing a lawful arrest.

The alleged offenses occurred Tuesday, and Hudson served the warrants the same day.

 Susan Holt, 36, of John Henry Brown Road, Clover faces two misdemeanor charges of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

The alleged offenses occurred Jan. 26, and Mocarsky served the warrant Tuesday.

 Robbin Jean Coleman, 22, of South Boston faces a charge of shoplifting, according to South Boston Police Department records.

Officer S. L. Song served the warrant Sunday, and Coleman was released on summons.

 Adam Lee Hughes, 30, of South Boston faces a charge of assault and battery.

Officer T. W. Bush served the warrant Monday, and Hughes was held without bond.

 David Arnell Guthrie, 50, of South Boston face two charges of larceny/shoplifting.

Officer J. B. Throckmorton served the warrants Monday.

 Debbie Lynn Green, 33, of Clover faces a charge of larceny/shoplifting.

Throckmorton served the warrant Monday, and Green was released on summons.

 Paul Bryan Dease, 38, of Clover faces a charge of larceny/shoplifting.

Throckmorton served the warrant Monday, and Dease was released on summons.

 Melvin Davis Stephens, 55, of South Boston faces a charge of being drunk in public.

Officer J. J. George served the warrant Monday. 

 Quinn Theadon Tucker, 26, of South Boston faces misdemeanor charges of brandishing a firearm and being a felon in possession of a weapon.  

Officer J. C. Berry served the warrant Monday.
